Our R&D team is involved in several exciting development projects aimed at the future. Meet the members of the team here.

Dr. Christian Koroschetz, M.Sc.

Chief Technology Officer

Christian built up in-depth knowledge within the forming technologies field over the course of his academic career at Graz University of Technology. His work within the field focuses on new processes such as forming at elevated temperatures, new materials and tool and die development. Christian has been part of the R&D team at AP&T since 2014, and he implements future technologies at the company.

Lars-Olof Jönsson

Project Manager Technology Development

Lars-Olof has vast experience of forming and trimming tools in different materials for a wide range of applications. During his career, he has worked as a tool designer, tool design manager and project manager with primary focus on the international automotive industry. In his current position at the AP&T R&D department, Lars-Olof is dedicated to the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and processes.

Knut Erik Snilsberg

Project Manager Technology Development

Knut Erik started his career by working as an apprentice in metal forming with extrusion of aluminum at Benteler Aluminium. His MSc in metallurgy from NTNU, Trondheim, focused on light metal forming, and he was named the best student at the faculty. Since 2009, Knut Erik has held various positions at the Raufoss manufacturing cluster, and he has worked the past few years at the independent R&D company SINTEF Raufoss Manufacturing. Focus here has been on the development of thermomechanical processes for aluminum, titanium and brass for a wide range of customers, including complete value chains with both suppliers and customers. He has been part of the R&D team at AP&T since 2015, with primary focus on aluminum projects.

Dr. Gerald Anyasodor

Senior Engineer Technology Development

Gerald has a Ph.D .from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow UK, and his thesis concerned the field of design, manufacturing and engineering management. He joined AP&T in 2016, and now has a key role in our cooperation initiatives with industry and academia with focus on the development of forming methods for high strength aluminum.

Dr. Michael Machhammer

Manager Development Forming Processes & Tooling

Michael has a Ph.D. from Graz University of Technology (Institute of Tools and Forming), and is specialized in finite element sheet metal forming simulation. He joined AP&T in early 2017, and is responsible for AP&T's development in the field of hot and cold forming simulation of steel and aluminum, including close collaboration with our tooling department. He is also deeply engaged in the European-funded LoCoMaTech project, where AP&T is a key player.
