Field Service Technician
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical applications. You will also be responsible for the following duties:

  • Repair equipment as requested by our customers (defined in scope of work)
  • Installations of new equipment at the customer’s facility
  • Implementing field design changes to the equipment
  • Customer support via phone and/or VPN

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of automation system installation and troubleshooting experience preferred
  • Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes; motors, servos, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems
  • Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Familiarity with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC’s and Dos/Windows based systems a plus
  • Strong problem solving ability with practical, mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Ability to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Must be fully computer literate with Microsoft environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner
  • Willing to travel approximately 75% of the time, which can include both domestic and international travel; Must be willing to work away from home for 2–4 weeks at a time
  • Valid driver license, no major infractions at any time
  • Valid passport and other travel documents as applicable
  • No criminal record
  • Reliable transportation
  • Reliable internet connection at residence
