Weland Stål and Floby Durk, both of which are part of the Weland group, have each ordered a new ODEN press from AP&T. The new equipment will be delivered during the second half of 2016 and will replace two older presses from AP&T that have been in operation since 1990.

“The new AP&T presses are an investment in the future and will help ensure secure and reliable production for our customers for many years to come,” says Roger Waltersson, key account manager at AP&T.

Weland Stål in Ulricehamn, Sweden manufactures snow guards, roof gangways, guard rails and evacuation products, amongst other things. Sister company Floby Durk is located in Floby, Sweden and specializes in steel grating and staircases. Both of the new hydraulic presses are ODEN-Flexible presses and will be included in the production lines for the manufacture of sheet metal parts for the products above. AP&T will also take care of service and maintenance for the presses.

“It is very gratifying that we continue to have the Weland group’s confidence; the relationship between the two companies is long standing and positive,” says Roger Waltersson.

The presses will be manufactured at AP&T’s facilities in Tranemo.
